This post aims to inform you of our events this year.  What's our goal?  To connect Manawatū educators; to facilitate teaching and learning in the 21st Century and to have a bit of fun along the way.

Our plan for the year is to organise an informal "get together" during Terms 1 & 3 #pubpdpalmy During Terms 2 & 4 we will organise our formal events: #educamppalmy and #eduignitepalmy .  For planning purposes, we will try to organise our events during "Week 5" of each term.  You think: "Week 5, great it's time for another awesome PalmyEd event!"

SO without further ado the dates and venues for our first 2 events for 2016 are:
- #pubpdpalmy "Bring a colleague": 3:45pm Thursday 3rd March, Speights Ale House, Palmerston North.
- #educamppalmy "Best free PD" in Palmy:  10:00am Saturday 28th May, Riverdale School, Palmerston North.

What do you want to get out of this group?  Please let us know your thoughts via email, twitter or comments.

Ngā mihi nui

  1. Great stuff! Cheers for the organisation :) I'll be quiet on #twitter for the first term or so, but will pick up after that. Will still be there on the 3rd though, I'm sure.
